Join us for an evening of intimate worship and communion as we commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We’re launching a brand new gathering here to introduce men (14 and up) to each other, do real and meaningful things together, and build great and authentic friendships with each other as we grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our inaugural meeting will be on Saturday morning, March 16 (8:30-10 AM). Join us for breakfast in “The Big Room” here at Gateway as we enjoy each other’s company and talk about what this will look like in action. We’ll also seek your feedback, ideas, and initiatives to see men grow in their discipleship in Christ and fellowship with each other.

Hey, Ladies (age 14 and up)! Join us for a great night of fellowship at our Ladies' Craft Night (Friday, March 15, 7 PM) here in “The Big Room” at Gateway. Craft nights are specifically designed to provide a great time to begin and strengthen great, godly, and genuine friendships around a craft that's both easy to do and worthy of placing in your home, office, or wherever you'd like!

IF:2024 is a gathering of women (age 14 and older) from all walks of life committed to discipleship who gather across denominations, generations, and cultures to be in the Word and worship together.

IF:2024 is a chance to gather. A reason to celebrate. A moment to refocus on our mission to go make disciples because we know our time on earth is short. And if Jesus were to come back in our lifetime, wouldn’t we want to have done everything in our power to reach every person on earth?

Cost is $30 per person and includes registration for the conference and meals on Friday & Saturday.

We love our seniors here at Gateway, and in that light, we will host a very special brunch in their honor at the Stamper House on Monday, December 18, at 9:30 AM. Registration is required. Gateway Kids LOVES Christmas, and we will celebrate our Savior's birth in an exceptional way at both services (9:30 & 11 AM) on Sunday, December 17. On Sunday, November 19, Gateway will participate in "The Big Give." Instead of "coming" to church that morning, we'll "be" the church, serving in various parts of our community! Beginning Sunday, October 29, we’ll have signup sheets in the hallway behind the auditorium to register for specific tasks. They include…

• Volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity worksite (must be age 16 and sign a waiver)

• Worship and fellowship with residents at Countryside Village Nursing Center in Pikeville

• Volunteering at Wayne Pregnancy Center/Cry Freedom Missions (specific tasks TBD)

• Yardwork for Gateway families in need

• Making Crafts for Nursing Home Residents/Packing Hygiene/Necessity Kits for the needy here at Gateway

• Litter sweeping, pulling weeds, and planting flowers in downtown Goldsboro

• Prepping freezer meals for needy families here at Gateway

• And MORE!!

Some tasks are more family-friendly than others but for those with little ones too young to participate that day, check out this sheet with tasks you can complete that morning (or in the days before or after) as a family!

Trunk or Treat is a great way to have fun AND minister to our community!

Here's how it works... Our folks will gather and park their cars in our parking lot, where they’ll open their trunks (or the backs of their vehicles) and decorate them. Then they pass out candy from their trunks (following healthy protocols, of course). The event provides a safe family environment and lots of fun for all! We'll also provide hotdogs and drinks for all who attend!

Dedicating your children to the Lord is an important step in realizing our identities and roles as parents, and at Gateway, we desire nothing more than for you to be the true parents God has called you to be.

Our Fall 2023 dedication service will be on Sunday, September 10, at our 9:30 AM worship service. The registration deadline is Thursday, September 7.
