CHRISTIANS: KNOWN BY OUR GENEROSITY.
Biblical giving is generally divided into tithes and offerings. According to Scripture, tithes are 10% of our personal income obediently, regularly, and cheerfully contributed to the local church. Giving above the tithe is called an offering.
At Gateway, we do all we can to maintain the highest level of integrity with the resources God gives us through the tithes and offerings of people like you. Examples of steps we've taken include establishing policies for secure handling and counting of weekly offerings, preparing a budget that is reviewed and approved by Gateway’s Executive Leadership Team, and sending quarterly and yearly giving statements to all our contributors.
Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity in financially supporting the ministries of Gateway Community Church!
"Since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving."
- 2 Corinthians 8:7 (NIV)
"'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'" - Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
