TEDI BEAR (Tender Evaluation, Diagnosis and Intervention for a BEtter Abuse Response), part of the Department of Pediatrics at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, will be holding a FREE “Stewards of Children” Seminar here at Gateway on Saturday, April 23 (9:30-11 AM). This training seminar, open to all in our community, is specifically designed to help those who work with children and teens recognize and respond appropriately to signs of abuse. We encourage all of our Gateway Kids and Axis Student Volunteers to attend. The seminar is free, but we ask that you register either at the Guest Services Counter or by contacting us at info@g8way.cc
